What happens during processing
When a document shows the Processing badge, the AI pipeline is actively working. The steps are:
- Download — the file is retrieved from secure storage
- Pre-processing — PDFs are split by page; images are normalized
- OCR (if needed) — scanned documents are passed through OCR to extract raw text
- AI extraction — text is sent to the AI model in chunks, which identifies and extracts each field
- Merging — results from multiple chunks are merged into a single consistent output
- Saving — extracted data is written to your account and marked Completed
How long does processing take?
Most documents complete within 10–30 seconds. Longer documents (50+ pages) or those requiring OCR may take 1–2 minutes. The dashboard auto-refreshes so you'll see the status update without reloading.
If a document stays in Processing for more than 5 minutes, contact support with the document name and job ID.
よくある質問
Can I close the browser while a document is processing?
Yes. Processing happens on ParseMe's servers. Close the tab and come back later — the document will be ready when you return.
Why is my document taking longer than usual?
Large files, high-resolution scans, and complex templates take longer. If it exceeds 5 minutes, contact support.
