Document Is Being Processed

ParseMe's AI is actively reading and extracting data from your document right now.

What happens during processing

When a document shows the Processing badge, the AI pipeline is actively working. The steps are:

  • Download — the file is retrieved from secure storage
  • Pre-processing — PDFs are split by page; images are normalized
  • OCR (if needed) — scanned documents are passed through OCR to extract raw text
  • AI extraction — text is sent to the AI model in chunks, which identifies and extracts each field
  • Merging — results from multiple chunks are merged into a single consistent output
  • Saving — extracted data is written to your account and marked Completed

How long does processing take?

Most documents complete within 10–30 seconds. Longer documents (50+ pages) or those requiring OCR may take 1–2 minutes. The dashboard auto-refreshes so you'll see the status update without reloading.

If a document stays in Processing for more than 5 minutes, contact support with the document name and job ID.

Perguntas Frequentes

Can I close the browser while a document is processing?
